Vital EV announces strategic charging partnership with Terberg DTS UK Ltd

Vital EV has announced a strategic charging partnership with specialist vehicle manufacturer Terberg DTS UK Ltd. As part of the agreement, Terberg DTS will work alongside Vital EV and the market leading Kempower charger range to provide customers with their growing EV product range.

As the appointed UK distributor for Kempower, Vital EV combines industry-leading EV charging solutions with unrivalled aftersales care, including 24/7/365 operational support and the availability of 4-hour SLAs (Service Level Agreements) for on-site attendance.

Sharing Vital EV’s ethos in providing first-class customer experiences, Terberg DTS, which is part of the Dutch Royal Terberg group is a market leader in the supply of specialist vehicles that operate in many of Vital EV’s target sectors, including Defence, Fire, Aviation, Sea Port and Logistics – making the two companies ideally-suited for a strategic partnership.

Terberg DTS has a growing portfolio of EV products and recently launched an all-electric version of its popular YT tractor range in addition to Ground Support products. To assist its EV customers, Terberg working with Vital EV will supply a turnkey solution for their EV charging requirements. This service will also be available to both companies existing and rapidly growing customer base for the provision of electric charging capability for all other vehicle types both on and off Highway, Airfield or Military Facility.

The Kempower DC chargers from Vital EV are renowned for their build-quality, and they range from the T-Series mobile DC charger to full-scale modular and scalable EV charging systems.

In addition to introducing Vital EV to their customer base, Terberg and Vital EV will exhibit alongside each other at upcoming events and roadshows.

Nic Rae, Managing Director at Vital EV, commented: “Both Vital EV and Terberg DTS are highly-regarded names in our respective industries and we share similar values and ambitions. We are therefore delighted to be partnering with them on their electrification journey and help develop tailored EV charging solutions for their growing EV customer base”.

Alisdair Couper, Managing Director from Terberg DTS UK commented. We have been out and tested the market with a number of suppliers. Vital EV and Kempower came out a clear customer driven leader and visionary in this sector. Huge investments in EV vehicles are nothing without this key infrastructure and there is a huge difference between car charging and larger vehicle charging. Many of the charge point suppliers have no idea how to support this sector. This is where Vital EV clearly understand it and are successfully delivering it.

Terberg DTS customers will also be introduced to ChargEye, Kempower’s powerful charge management and control software, which also allows users to remotely schedule charge times, configure charge prioritisation and download usage reports.

Vital EV offers a full range of EV charging services from sales and rental to installation and servicing. Vital EV’s team of engineers are based strategically across the UK and provide customer support 24/7, 365 days a year with a 4-hour Service Level Agreement (SLA).
