Vital EV becomes the Official Charging Partner of Coventry Rugby
Vital EV has announced a two-season partnership with Coventry Rugby Club for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons. As part of the ‘Official EV Charging Partner’ agreement, Vital EV is the new back-of-shirt sponsor and will provide temporary ‘Rapid Charging Hubs’ at selected home games while public interest is monitored for a new permanent EV charging hub in the Club’s car park.
Founded in 1874, Coventry Rugby Club has been a pillar for the local community for generations and the team is currently challenging for a promotion spot in the tightly-contested RFU Championship, which will take them to their ultimate goal of playing in the Premiership Rugby.
As part of its ‘Vital Victories’ campaign which aims to support local sports and community projects, Vital EV is helping Coventry Rugby achieve its goal of competing at the top-level of English rugby. Sponsorship of the city’s rugby club also provides Vital with a recognised partner to work together with, to increase Coventry’s residents understanding of and access to charging infrastructure.

Vital EV will install its temporary Rapid Charging Hub at Coventry’s home ground, the Butts Park Arena, for selected home games. Comprising of Kempower Movable DC chargers, the hub will allow spectators to charge their electric cars at speeds of up to 40kW.
