Vital EV electrifies Company Car In Action as the Official Charging Partner
Vital EV will be the Official Charging Partner of Company Car In Action 2022, the UK’s most influential driving event for fleet decision makers. Vital EV’s rental fleet of 40kW Kempower T-Series mobile EV Chargers will provide the charging for the ‘Ride & Drive’ sessions at the event, which takes place on the 15th and 16th of June.
Taking place at Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire, visitors are able to test drive the latest cars and vans and the 2022 edition is set to showcase the greatest number of electric vehicles in the event’s 30-year history.
Vital EV’s rental fleet of Kempower T-Series chargers provide up to 40kW of rapid DC charge, allowing more vehicles to be charged in shorter time frames. With a weatherproof and lightweight design, the chargers are also easily manoeuvrable making them the ideal solution for event EV charging.
The T-Series chargers benefit from Kempower’s advanced over-the-air (OTA) software which allows both event organisers and the exhibitors to remotely monitor charging times and state of charge of each vehicle.
“We are hugely proud to be the Official Charging Partner of such a widely-regarded event as Company Car in Action”, explained Liam Campbell, Marketing Manager at Vital EV.
“As a company that works hard to develop tailor-made solutions for businesses looking to electrify their fleets, Company Car In Action is the perfect opportunity for us to demonstrate both the capability and practicality of our bespoke rapid DC chargers to fleet managers.”
The T-Series chargers will be transported to each of the events and installed by the Vital Group’s nationwide team of engineers. The mobile chargers have a simple, 3-step setup; wheel into position, connect to a 63A socket and plug-in your vehicle.
In addition to Company Car in Action, Vital EV is also the Official Charging Partner of Greenfleet’s Net Zero Roadshow and last year provided the EV charging solutions for COP26 in Glasgow, Extreme E motorsport event and a wide range of high-profile vehicle launches.
