Monitor Your Charging Network

The live charger status and real-time insights to datasets such as charging behaviour, uptime, occupancy, and energy consumption make it easier for you to optimise and scale your charging solution, while carbon-conscious fleets can also monitor their environmental impact with the CO2 saving calculator.

This data can be analysed though intuitive charts, graphs and heatmaps in the Occulus portal, or downloaded over selected timeframes into an Excel spreadsheet. Occulus can be integrated into existing fleet management software for centralised monitoring and control of the vehicles and charging sessions.

Remote charger access and control

In addition to providing full visibility of the charging procedures, Occulus allows fleet managers to take control of their network to reduce costs and environmental impact, while increasing uptime. Charging sessions can be scheduled to take advantage of lower tariffs or a more sustainable energy mix, and prioritised to return more operationally critical vehicles back to roads faster.

Dynamic Power Management

Occulus’ Dynamic Power Management makes best-use of your grid supply by allocating charging power to where it is needed the most. Occulus continuously measures the maximum charging speed requested by each charging vehicle and automatically assigns power accordingly to achieve the highest possible efficiency. Advanced DPM goes one step further by monitoring ancillary equipment on your site (i.e. lighting, machinery, HVAC systems, etc.) to dynamically balance your energy use.

Monetising your charging network

Fleet operators can mitigate the cost of charging equipment by introducing an ‘open network’ solution with Occulus. Our software gives you full control, including the option to adjust the opening hours and dynamic pricing, and apply vouchers and discounts for select groups.

Customers can either use our streamlined charging app or an RFID key for easy access and seamless payment, or we can fit a payment terminal for card and contactless.

Maximise Uptime & Availability

Occulus allows the live charger status to be continuously monitored by our Networks Team, along with upcoming service or update notifications. From our national headquarters in Coventry, our team are immediately notified and will remotely troubleshoot any issues to ensure high-uptime and operational excellence.

Each issue is allocated a fault code and an accompanying response level to swiftly resolve the problem and get your chargers operational again in minimal time. The response levels vary from preventative Over-The-Air (OTA) updates to on-site engineering attendance (with Service Level Agreements as low as 4 hours) to critical part and module replacements which are stocked at our centrally-located headquarters and primed for immediate dispatch.
