The Kempower Satellite Charger is a compact and ultra-rapid satellite charging post for large and widespread fleets that, along with the Power Unit, forms part of Kempower’s hub-and-spoke charging system. The system is ideal for electric buses and parties offering fast charging for electric passenger cars. The need for simultaneous and frequent fast charging is easily fulfilled with Satellite Charger and/or pantograph systems as part of Kempower’s EV Charging Solutions

Regular Over-The-Air (OTA) updates and on-site maintenance to OEM standards is the key to keep your chargers charging and vehicles moving.
Unrivalled Support
If an issue occurs, our networks team are immediately notified and will remotely access your charger to resolve the issue. If needed, we offer on-site response in as little as 4 hours.
Kempower Satellite Charging System
Charging power of up to 600kW can be distributed dynamically into each Satellite Charger or to a pantograph system in suitable applications.
Our intuitive user interface is embedded into the charging satellite poles; therefore each user is able to choose their individual fast charging period, connector type and payment method – if required.
The weatherproof body and special coating for the electronics ensure that both the Power Unit and Satellite Chargers can be installed both indoors and outdoors.

Power Modules: At The Heart Of The Satellite Charger Solution
Kempower’s 50kW Power Modules are at the core of the Power Unit’s capabilities. The rack-style cabinets can include up to 12 power modules – driven by the application’s charging requirements. This means customers can scale their infrastructure in line with their charging requirements, managing up-front costs and commitment. Power modules also provide the Power Unit with inherent redundancy, as each power module works independently – this means if one of them malfunctions, the others keep on working.
The Highest Power-to-Footprint Ratio On The Market
Due to the slimline design and modularity of the Satellite Charger, they have the highest power-to-footprint ratio in the ultra-rapid charging market. The output of each Satellite Charger is up to 400kW from a footprint similar to that of an A4 sheet.
The Plug Is Not An Issue
The Satellite Charger supports the most common charging standards: CCS2, CHAdeMO and Type 2.

Class-leading Cable Handling Makes The Charging Easier For EV Drivers
The charging cable included in all Kempower fast-charging stations has a patented cable management system, preventing the cable from touching the ground. Due to the system, we can easily ensure that the cable won’t get dirty, wet or frozen which elongates the maintenance intervals and life-span. The cable is also longer than standard fast charging cables, allowing the manoeuvre of cable and the all-important charging to become effortless.
An Intuitive Touch Screen Makes The Fast-charging Experience Easy For EV Drivers
The 7” touch screen and the UI guides the EV driver through the fast-charging process. The ‘less text more graphics’ design principle enables a user experience to unfold with less hassle, simple language selection and no need for a tailored translation process.
Variety Of Possibilities To Scale-up The Charging Power
We offer Multi-Voltage and 800V versions depending on your vehicle’s charging voltage. Charging power from 50kW to 600kW is available for both versions.
